What is the Telefónica Metaverse Day?

The Telefónica Metaverse Day is the first edition of the innovative event on the metaverse and other related emerging technologies, organised by Telefónica.

Here, the leading experts in the field will talk about the practical applications of the metaverse in this new digital era.

When does it take place?

On 29th September 2022 in the afternoon at the Distrito Telefónica Auditorium (Madrid). You can also enjoy the event via streaming through our website or with your own avatar in our Multi User Virtual Environment at AltSpaceVR.

How can I attend the event?

You can attend the event in three different ways: live, via streaming and through the Telefónica Metaverse Day Multi User Virtual Environment. No matter which way you choose, you need to register first.

How much does the ticket cost?

The event is completely free, if you decide to attend in any of the three modalities (live, via streaming or through the Telefónica Metaverse Day Multi User Virtual Environment).

How can I get to Distrito Telefónica if I attend in person?

To get to Distrito Telefónica you can take Line 10 of the Madrid Metro and get off at the station "Ronda de la Comunicación", where you will find signs to the Auditorium, or come in your own car. You can find the map here.

How long is the event?

The event has an estimated duration of 4.5 hours, which varies depending on whether you attend live or online (streaming and through the Telefónica Metaverse Day Multi User Virtual Environment).

For the live mode, the event starts at 15:00 CET and for the online mode, it starts at 15:55 CET. You can check the agenda of the event here.

In how many languages will it be available?

Whichever way you choose to attend, you will be able to follow the event in Spanish, with simultaneous translation into English.

I want to attend the event live. When will I receive confirmation of my entrance? Can I share the QR code with others?

We will confirm if you have an entrance to attend the event live a few days after the registration. You cannot share it, all invitations are personal and non-transferable.

I would like to experience the event through the Multi User Virtual Environment, how can I do it?

To attend the event through the Multi User Virtual Environment you will need to have a personal Microsoft account and a device compatible with AltSpaceVR software. Click here to find out how. About register

Do I need to register to attend the event?

The registration process is necessary to acquire a spot for the event, regardless of the modality you choose to attend: live, via streaming or in our Multi User Virtual Environment in AltSpaceVR.

How can I register?

You can register on the event website. Choose how you want to attend. If you want to attend live, click on "Enjoy it live". If it is online, regardless of whether it is via streaming or through our Multi User Virtual Environment in AltSpaceVR, click on "Enjoy it online".

In the days following registration, we will send you an email confirming, in the case of the in-person mode, if you have a place in the Auditorium, and, if not, we will give you the option to follow it by streaming or in our Multi-user Virtual Environment. I am having problems with my registration, what can I do?

If you have registered and have not received any email with our spot confirmation, regardless of the modality you have chosen, please check your spam folder or write to us through the contact form.
